First Credit Union is pleased to announce the fifth year of a community relations program which involves local high school students. Seven enthusiastic grade 12 students will be selected to represent First Credit Union at a variety of community events from April to August. Participating students will not only receive a $500 bursary for completing the 6-month program, but they will receive practical work experience in Marketing, Community Relations, and Event Planning. Students will receive considerable training including communication, public speaking, etiquette, project planning, and customer service. The students also receive credit towards Career and Personal Planning 12. Application deadline is March 21st, 2008.
